Enjoy nature's beauty on Horseback through a Deer Creek Trail
Ride
Western Kentucky is known for its variety of scenic landscapes—wooded
hills and hollows, rich green pastures, and rows of cultivated fields
that flow together in a breathtaking palette of colors. When you
ride at Deer Creek, you’ll breathe fresh country air as you enjoy
seemingly endless trails that wind through some of the state’s most
beautiful country.
Any of our mounts—all Tennessee Walking horses—will give you a
comfortable and safe ride. Our experienced guides will help you
choose the perfect horse for your ability, then accompany you across
miles and miles of hills and hollows. You’ll tour local sites such
as Bald Knob, Sawmill Hollow, and Marker Hill, the highest point
in Webster County. You’ll visit old homesites and graveyards from
the 1800s.
Be sure to bring your camera! Whitetail deer, wild turkey, and
a variety of small game species abound here. Greater blue herons,
red-tailed hawks, and dozens of species of songbirds are also found
on our property.
Horseback rides are available to guests in minimum increments of
one hour and two people per trail ride.
